Organization for
Industrial Spiritual and Cultural Advancement (OISCA) International is a
non-Governmental Organization in special consultative status with UN’s ECOSOC.
Since its inception the OISCA has oriented its activities to the fundamental
concept of sustainable development. The Children’s forest programme popularly
known as CFP, the flagship project of OISCA and its activities are in full
swing in about 1700 schools in South India. Love Green Clubs established in
schools are the basic unit of the CFP.
To recognize, motivate and reward the
outstanding teen personalities in South India, OISCA International organizes a
unique contest. The idea is to select students who excel in studies and
extracurricular activities. There will be three levels of examinations at
Chapter, District and South India levels. The successful students in the final
round will be presented with award, certificates and preference to get free
education at the Oisca Academy in Japan. High School students in the Government
and private schools (both syllabuses) in South India can participate in this
contest. The preliminary round written test will be held on Saturday 9th
August, 2014 from 10 to 11.30 am at different centers in South India. The
registration fee is Rs. 40/- per student. In the preliminary stage students
have to undergo a written test of objective type questions with multiple choice
answers. The medium will be in Malayalam or English. The total time allotted is
90 minutes. There will be an essay & 150 questions about various types of
General awareness, which covers Science, History, Geography, Literature, Art, Culture,
Environment, Sports and Mental ability etc.. Minimum 5o students are required
to sanction Exam Center at schools. For
